Installation Procedure

Lubricate the oil pump flow control valve seal with clean engine oil and install the valve (2) in the engine block. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
- Install the oil pump flow control valve bolt (1) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Position the oil pump flow control valve retainer (4) to the engine.
- Install the oil pump flow control valve bolt (3) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the engine wiring harness clip (2) to the retainer.
- Connect the electrical connector (1).
