Removal Procedure

WARNING:

Brake Dust Warning

  1. Without draining the engine coolant and without disconnecting the hoses, remove and position aside the radiator surge tank. Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LFY)Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LTG)
  2. GM4774031

    Wheel Speed Sensor Electrical Connector (1) - Disconnect

  3. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  4. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

    Wheel Speed Sensor Harness Pass Through Grommet (1) - Release

  6. GM4774037

    Retainer (1) @ Strut Assembly - Release

  7. Retainer (2) @ Wheelhouse - Release
  8. GM4774040

    Retainer (1) @ Strut Assembly - Release

  9. GM4260243

    Wheel Speed Sensor Bolt (1) - Remove

  10. GM4260246

    Wheel Speed Sensor (1) - Remove
