Circuit/System Description

The passenger presence detection sensor is within the passenger seat cushion and provides an input to the Inflatable Restraint Sensing and Diagnostic Module (SDM). The SDM supplies a low reference circuit and a passenger presence detection sensor signal circuit to determine seated or unseated condition of passenger seat.
