Installation Procedure

- NOTE:
Install the thermostat bypass hose onto the water outlet during installation.
Water Outlet Seal (3) - Install a NEW seal.
- Water Outlet (2) - Install
- Water Outlet Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 10 N.m (89 lb in)
Thermostat Bypass Hose Clamp (1)@Water Outlet - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
Heater Water Auxiliary Pump Inlet Hose (3)@Water Outlet - Connect
- Heater Inlet Hose@ (2)Water Outlet - Connect
- Radiator Inlet Hose (1)@Water Outlet - Connect
Hose Clamp (2) - Engage [3x] - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (1) - Connect
- Battery Tray - Install - Battery Tray Replacement
- Engine Control Module - Install - Engine Control Module Replacement
- Fill the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill)
- Start the engine and check for leaks.
