Removal Procedure

    WARNING:

    Refer to Diesel/Gasoline Vapors Warning .

    WARNING:

    Refer to Safety Glasses Warning .

  1. Fuel Tank - Remove - Fuel Tank Replacement (AWD) 
  2. GM4406102

    Electrical Connector (1) - Disconnect [2x]

  3. GM4406112

    Use the CH 48482  wrench by turning counter clockwise and remove the lock ring (1).

  4. GM4406120

    Transfer Hose (1) - Disconnect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 

  5. GM4406118

    Fuel Sender (1) - Remove

  6. Fuel Pump Seal (2) - Remove and DISCARD
