Installation Procedure

  1. GM4573051
    CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution

    Ignition and Start Switch (2) - Install

    Connect the electrical connector.

  2. Ignition and Start Switch Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 2 N.m (18 lb in)
  3. GM4604795

    Ignition Lock Cylinder (2) - Install

  4. GM4573052

    Turn the ignition key (1) to position OFF and remove the ignition key (1) from the key cylinder.

  5. Steering Column Lower Trim Cover Replacement - Install
  6. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection Connect
