Removal Procedure

  1. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection - Disconnect the battery negative cable.
  2. Rear Compartment Floor Panel Trim Support - Remove - Rear Compartment Floor Panel Trim Support Replacement
  3. Radio Rear Compartment Speaker - Remove - Radio Rear Compartment Speaker Replacement
  4. GM3686207

    Unlock the retaining tab on the battery fuse box cover (1).

  5. Use a suitable screwdriver to unlock the clip through the window.
  6. Remove the battery fuse box cover.

    NOTE:

    Pull the battery fuse box housing. DO NOT pull the flap.

    Remove the positive battery cable to starter bolt (1).

  8. Remove the positive battery cable to starter (2) from the battery.
  9. Battery to Fuse Block Cable Replacement - Remove
  10. GM3686210

    Remove 5 body wiring harness nuts (1) and the body wiring harness.

  11. Fuse Block (2) - Remove
