Installation Procedure

  1. GM4091294

    Push down the 3 electrical connectors (2) before installation of the front compartment fuse block (1).

  2. GM3952940

    Lock the retaining tabs (2, 3).

  3. Install the front compartment fuse block (1).
  4. GM4091293
    CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution

    Install 3 front compartment fuse block bolts (1) and tighten to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  5. Install the front compartment fuse block cover (1).
  6. GM4091290

    Install the generator and starter cable nut (2) and tighten to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

  7. Install the headlamp wiring harness nut (5) and tighten to 4.7 N.m (42 lb in).
  8. Install the power steering wiring harness nut (4) and tighten to 4.7 N.m (42 lb in).
  9. Install the battery positive cable bolt (3) tighten to 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
  10. Install the front compartment fuse block wiring harness supply cover (1).
  11. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection - Connect
