Installation Procedure

  1. GM4171562

    Charge Air Cooler(2)@Radiator Assembly(1) - Install

  2. GM4171561

    Clip in the 2 retainer clips (1).

  3. GM4171558

    Install the engine coolant fan shroud (1) to the radiator. Ensure the 4 retaining tabs (2, 3) engage audible.

  4. Lower the vehicle.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Bolt(1, 2) - Install and tighten[2x] 5 N.m (44 lb in)

  6. GM4171563

    Connect the electrical connector.(1)

  7. Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose@Charge Air Cooler - Install - Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Replacement 
  8. Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose@Charge Air Cooler - Install - Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose Replacement 
  9. Front Bumper Fascia Replacement - Install
  10. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection - Connect
