Installation Procedure

  1. GM4211407

    Catalytic Converter Heat Shield(1) - Install

  2. GM4211405
    CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution

    Exhaust Temperature Sensor(1) - Install and tighten[2x] 45 N.m (33 lb ft)

  3. GM4211404

    Catalytic Converter Heat Shield Bolt(1) - Install and tighten[2x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  4. Raise the vehicle.
  5. GM4211406

    Catalytic Converter Heat Shield Bolt(1) - Install and tighten[2x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  6. Front Compartment Insulator - Install - Front Compartment Insulator Replacement
  7. Lower the vehicle.
  8. Turbocharger Heat Shield - Install Turbocharger Heat Shield Replacement
