Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  2. Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side - Remove
  3. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Replacement - Remove
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the steering column control module and bracket.
  5. GM3407265

    Steering Column Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove[2x]

  6. Steering Column Bracket Bolt (2) - Remove
  7. Steering Column Control Module Bracket (3) - Remove
  8. Transfer components as necessary.
