Installation Procedure

  1. GM3407265

    Position the steering column control module bracket on the steering column. (3)

  2. Steering Column Bracket Bolt (2) - Loosely install
  3. Steering Column Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) - Loosely install[2x]
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Steering Column Bracket Bolt (2) - Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
  5. Steering Column Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) - Tighten[2x] 7 N.m (62 lb in)
  6. Connect the electrical connectors to the steering column control module and bracket.
  7. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Replacement - Install
  8. Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side - Install
  9. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
