Installation Procedure

  1. Install Generator (4)
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Install and tighten Generator Mounting Stud (3) to 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  3. Install and tighten Generator Mounting Nut (2) to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  4. Install and tighten Generator Bolts (1) (Qty: 2) to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  5. Connect Electrical Connector (4)
  6. Install Battery Positive Cable (3)
  7. Install and tighten Battery Positive Cable Nut (2) to 17 N.m (13 lb ft)
  8. Install Generator Terminal Protective Boot (1)
  9. Install Drive Belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement
  10. Install Front Wheel Drive Shaft-Right Side. Refer to Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Right Side
  11. Install Front Compartment Front Center Insulator. Refer to Front Compartment Front Center Insulator Replacement
  12. Lower the vehicle.
  13. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9)
