Installation Procedure

  1. Install Battery Sensor Module (2)
  2. Tighten Battery Negative Post Clamp Nut (1) to 4.5 N.m (40 lb in)

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Use an open ended wrench to hold the battery sensor ground tab, while tightening the battery negative cable nut.
  4. Install Battery Negative Cable (2)
  5. Install and tighten Battery Negative Cable Nut (3) to 11 N.m (97 lb in)

  6. Connect the electrical connector (1).
  7. Program all of the customer's radio station presets and set the radio clock to the current time.
