Removal Procedure

  1. Remove Front Lower Control Arm - Lower Control Arm Replacement 
  2. Secure the front lower control arm in a vise.

  4. Drill through or grind off the head of the rivets holding the front lower control arm ball stud in the front lower control arm.

  6. Use a suitable punch and a hammer to loosen the rivets from the front lower control arm.

  8. Remove the rivets from the front lower control arm.

  10. Use a 31/64 in drill bit to enlarge each rivet hole. This step is necessary for the NEW front lower control arm ball stud bolts to fit.
  11. Remove the front lower control arm ball stud from the front lower control arm.
