Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery) 
  2. Fig 1: Front Fender Rear Upper Brace (LV3, L96, LC8, lL83, L8B, L86)

  3. Remove Front Fender Rear Upper Brace (4)Front Fender Rear Upper Brace Replacement

  5. Remove Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Cover (1)
  6. Remove Battery Positive Cable Nut (2)
  7. Remove Battery Positive Cable (3)
  8. Disengage Retainer Clip (4)

  10. Loosen Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut (1)

  12. Disengage Retaining Tab (1)
  13.   18. Remove Battery Hold Down Retainer (2)
  19. Remove Battery (3)
