Installation Procedure
- Install the steering knuckle assembly (1) to the front suspension strut assembly (2).
- Install the front suspension strut bolts (1) and nuts (2) attaching the strut to the knuckle and tighten the nuts (2) to 100 N.m (74 lb ft).
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
- Install the front brake rotor splash shield to the steering knuckle. Refer to Front Brake Shield Replacement .
- Install the front wheel speed sensor. Refer to Front Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement .
- Install the front brake rotor. Refer to Front Brake Rotor Replacement .
- Connect the wheel drive shaft to the wheel hub. Refer to Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement .
- Connect the control arm ball joint to the steering knuckle. Refer to Lower Control Arm Replacement .
- Connect the stabilizer shaft link to the strut. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement .
- Connect the steering linkage outer tie rod end to the steering knuckle. Refer to Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod Replacement .
- Install the front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
- Lower the vehicle.
