Installation Procedure

  1. Position the front strut assembly on the vehicle (1).

  2. Install the front suspension strut mounting plate (2) and front suspension strut mounting plate nut (1).

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Use the CH-49375  socket (2) and proper size Torx® bit to tighten the front suspension strut mounting plate nut to 65 N.m (48 lb ft).

  4. Front Suspension Strut Bolt - Install
  5. Front Suspension Strut Nut - Install and tighten 110 N.m (81 lb ft)
  6. Remove the jack stand from underneath the front control arm.
  7. Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod@Steering Knuckle - Install - Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod Replacement
  8. Front Wheel Speed Sensor@Strut Assembly - Install

  9. Front Brake Hose @Strut Assembly - Install
  10. Front Stabilizer Shaft Link@Front Stabilizer Shaft - Install - Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement 
  11. Install the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  12. Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement - Install
  13. Measure and adjust the wheel alignment. Wheel Alignment Measurement
