Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the front wheel. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .

  3. Disconnect the front position sensor harness connector (1) from the front position sensor.
  4. Unclip the harness clips (2) from the front position sensor.

  5. Disconnect the front position sensor link (1) from the lower control arm ball stud (2).

  6. Loosen the front sensor retaining nut (1).
  7. Remove the front sensor locating pin from the notch in the frame (2).
  8. Remove the front position sensor (3).
