Installation Procedure

  1. Install NEW coolant air bleed pipe seals (2).
  2. Install the coolant air bleed pipe (1) to the cylinder heads.
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the coolant air bleed pipe to cylinder head bolts (3) and tighten to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
  4. Install the coolant air bleed hose (4) to the coolant air bleed pipe (1).
  5. Install the throttle body assembly. Refer to Throttle Body Assembly Replacement .
  6. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
