Removal Procedure

    WARNING:

    Refer to Exhaust Service Warning .

    WARNING:

    Refer to Protective Goggles and Glove Warning .

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
    2. Fig 1: Underbody Brace & Mounting Fasteners

  2. Remove the underbody brace mounting fasteners (1).
  3. Remove the underbody brace (2).
    4. Fig 2: Exhaust Heat Shield & Fasteners

  4. Remove the exhaust heat shield fasteners (1) and remove the exhaust heat shield (2).
