Preliminary Procedures Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief (Gasoline) . Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LFX) . Remove the fuel pipe shield. Refer to Fuel Pipe Shield Replacement .
1	Fitting (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution . NOTE: Tighten the fittings in sequence as numbered: 1, 2, 3 Tighten 28 N.m (21 lb ft)
2	Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe Procedure Discard the pipe when removed and install a NEW pipe. Lubricate the pipes with silicon free engine oil. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers . Pressure up the fuel system and check for leaks.

Procedure

Discard the pipe when removed and install a NEW pipe.
Lubricate the pipes with silicon free engine oil. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers .
Pressure up the fuel system and check for leaks.
