Installation Procedure

  1. Install the EVAP emission pipe (2) to the vehicle.
  2. Install the EVAP emission pipe (2) to the retainers (1).
  3. Connect the EVAP emission pipe (2) to the EVAP emission canister purge pipe. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  4. Install the drivetrain and front suspension frame rear support. Refer to Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Rear Support Replacement .
  5. Lower the vehicle.

  6. Connect the EVAP emission pipe (1) to the EVAP emission canister solenoid valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  7. Clip the EVAP emission pipe into the retainers.
  8. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LFX) .
