Installation Procedure
- Position the steering linkage relay rod (1) on the vehicle.
- Install the pitman arm (1) to the steering linkage relay rod.
- Install the steering linkage pitman arm nut (2) and tighten to 63 N.m (46 lb ft).
Install a NEW nut.
- Install the left side steering linkage inner tie rod (1) to the steering linkage relay rod. Steering Linkage Inner Tie Rod Replacement
- Install the steering linkage idler arm (2) to the steering linkage relay rod. Idler Arm Replacement
- Install the right side steering linkage inner tie rod (1) to the steering linkage relay rod. Steering Linkage Inner Tie Rod Replacement
- Measure and adjust the front toe. Wheel Alignment - Steering Wheel Angle and/or Front Toe Adjustment

CAUTION:
This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.
