Airbag Front Passenger Presence Module Replacement

WARNING:

The passenger presence system MUST be replaced as a complete assembly to prevent possible injury or death to the vehicle occupants. The service kit includes a heating pad, pressure sensor, seat cushion and control module, which are all assembled and calibrated as a unit. All of the components in the service kit MUST be installed together. Failure to install all of the components in the service kit will cause the passenger presence system to operate improperly. In the event of an accident, this may result in severe injury or death to the vehicle occupants.

Preliminary Procedure Remove Front Seat Cushion Cover and Pad. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement
1 Airbag Front Passenger Presence Sensor Clip (Qty: 2)
Procedure 
Use a flat bladed plastic tool to remove.
2 Airbag Front Passenger Presence Sensor

Procedure

  1. Remove the airbag front passenger presence sensor out of retaining guides.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
