Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  2. Remove Front Bumper Fascia Replacement
  3. Remove Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose@Charge Air Cooler Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose Replacement 
  4. Remove Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose@Charge Air Cooler Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Replacement

  5. Disconnect the electrical connector. (1)

  6. Remove Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Bolt (1, 2)
  7. Raise the vehicle.

  8. Pull up the engine coolant fan shroud (1) until it can be put out of the 4 retaining tabs (2, 3).

  9. Tilt the engine coolant fan shroud (1) as much as possible.
  10. Retain the engine coolant fan shroud.

  11. Disconnect the electrical connector.(1)

    NOTE:

    A second technician is required.

  12. Unclip Retainer Clip (1)

  13. Remove Charge Air Cooler (2) @Radiator Assembly (1)
