Removal Procedure

WARNING:

Exhaust Service Warning

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
    2. Fig 1: Front Exhaust Flange Nuts And Exhaust Muffler Insulator Nuts

  2. Remove the 3 front exhaust flange nuts (1).
  3. Remove Exhaust Muffler Insulator Nut (2)
  4. Support the exhaust system.

  5. Remove the 2 exhaust muffler hanger bracket nuts (1).
    6. Fig 3: Exhaust System, Exhaust Muffler Insulator, Exhaust Rear Muffler Insulator And Exhaust Front Pipe Gasket

    NOTE:

    A second technician is required.

  6. Remove Exhaust System (4)
  7. Remove Exhaust Muffler Insulator (2, 5) and DISCARD
  8. Remove Exhaust Rear Muffler Insulator (3) and DISCARD
  9. Remove Exhaust Front Pipe Gasket (1) and DISCARD
