Installation Procedure

  1. Install Catalytic Converter Heat Shield (1)
    2. Fig 2: Exhaust Temperature Sensor

    CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution

  2. Install Exhaust Temperature Sensor (1) and tighten 45 N.m (33 lb ft)
    3. Fig 3: Catalytic Converter Heat Shield Bolt

  3. Install Catalytic Converter Heat Shield Bolt (1) and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  4. Raise the vehicle.

  5. Install Catalytic Converter Heat Shield Bolt (1) and tighten 9 N.m (80lb in)
  6. Install Front Compartment Insulator Front Compartment Insulator Replacement
  7. Lower the vehicle.
  8. Install Turbocharger Heat Shield Turbocharger Heat Shield Replacement
