Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection 
  2. Remove Rear Compartment Floor Panel Trim
  3. Remove Rear Compartment Floor Panel Trim Support
  4. Open the left rear door.
  5. Fold the rear seat back cushion forward to get a better access to the battery.

  6. Unlock the 3 retaining tabs (3) on the battery fuse block cover.
  7. Remove the fuse block cover (1). Remove the rear fuse block cover retainers (2) from the fuse block.

  8. Loosen the battery positive cable nut (4).
    9. NOTE:

    Counterhold the battery positive clamp.

  9. Remove the body extension wiring harness bolt (3).
  10. Remove the body extension wiring harness (2).
  11. Remove the battery positive cable to fuse block nut (5).
  12. Remove the battery to fuse block cable (1).
