Installation Procedure

  1. Install the battery to fuse block cable (1).
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the battery positive cable to fuse block nut (5) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  3. Install the body extension wiring harness (2).
    4. NOTE:

    Counterhold the battery positive clamp.

  4. Install the body extension wiring harness bolt (3) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  5. Tighten the battery positive cable nut (4) to 4.5 N.m (40 lb in).

  6. Install the fuse block cover (2). Install the rear fuse block cover retainers (2) to the fuse block.
  7. Lock the 3 retaining tabs (3) into the battery fuse block cover.
  8. Fold the rear seat back cushion in original position.
  9. Close the left rear door.
  10. Install Rear Compartment Floor Panel Trim Support.
  11. Install Rear Compartment Floor Panel Trim.
  12. Connect Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
