Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection 
  2. Fig 1: Retainers

  3. Release the 2 retainers (2).
  4. Remove the battery positive distribution cover (1).

  6. Remove the battery positive cable bolt (1).
  7. Remove Rear Compartment Floor Panel Trim
  8. Fold the left rear seat down for easier access to the battery.

  10. Release the 10 retainers (1).
  11. Remove the cover (2).
  12. Release the 3 retainers (4, 5).
  13. Remove the cover (3).

  15. Mark the position of the grommet at the positive cable with a line (1).

  17. Remove the battery positive cable bolt (3).
  18. Release the 6 retainers (1) and push the battery positive cable (2) through the body.
  19. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

    NOTE:

    For a better access, remove the wire tie through the wheelhouse.

  21. Remove the bat positive cable wire tie from the plastic nut (1).

  23. Unclip Retainer (1)

  25. Remove 3 wire tie retainers (1, 2) on the rear left body in front of the rear axle.

  27. Move the complete battery positive cable through the body.

  29. Remove the 6 battery positive cable retainer nuts (1).
  30. Remove Battery Positive Cable
