Removal Procedure
WARNING:

CAUTION:
Refer to Brake Fluid Effects on Paint and Electrical Components Caution
- Disconnect Battery Negative Cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Remove Dash Upper Extension Panel Opening Cover. Refer to Dash Upper Extension Panel Opening Cover Replacement
- Remove Radiator Surge Tank Bracket Clip (2)
- Reposition away Radiator Surge Tank (1)
- Remove Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Secondary Pipe (1) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (3)
- Remove Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe (1) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (3)
- Disconnect Electrical Connector (2) @ Electronic Brake Control Module (1)
- Unclip wiring harness from brake pressure modulator valve bracket.
- Loosen Brake Pipe Fittings (2) (Qty: 4)
- Remove Bolt (1)
- Remove the electronic brake and traction control module and brake pressure modulator valve (3) along with brake pressure modulator valve bracket from the vehicle.
- Remove Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Replacement
NOTE:
Do NOT disconnect the engine coolant hoses.
NOTE:
Cap the brake pipe fitting and plug the brake master cylinder outlet port to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
NOTE:
Cap the brake pipe fittings to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
