Installation Procedure

  1. Position the steering column control module bracket on the steering column. (3)
  2. Loosely install Steering Column Bracket Bolt (2)
  3. Loosely install Steering Column Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) (Qty: 2)
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Tighten Steering Column Bracket Bolt (2) to 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
  5. Tighten Steering Column Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) (Qty: 2) to 7 N.m (62 lb in)
  6. Connect the electrical connectors to the steering column control module and bracket.
  7. Install Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Replacement
  8. Install Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side
  9. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
