Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement - Left Side .
    2. Fig 1: Fuel Pump Module Locking Ring

    NOTE:

    The fuel pump module is spring loaded and will spring upward when the locking ring is removed.

  2. Using the CH-48482  lock ring tool, turn the fuel pump module locking ring (1) counterclockwise and remove lock ring.

  3. Lift the fuel tank fuel pump module (1) carefully to disconnect the lines from the fuel tank fuel pump module (1) inside the tank.
  4. Remove the fuel tank fuel pump module (1) from the tank.
