Preliminary Procedures Open the driver and passenger side doors. Remove the roof lift off panel (coupe) or lower the top (convertible). Remove the windshield side garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement .
1	Windshield Frame Weatherstrip Retainer (Qty: 2) Procedure Remove the push in retainers from the weatherstrip, located at the base of the windshield pillars.
2	Windshield Frame Weatherstrip Nut (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Remove the upper corner nuts from the weatherstrip. Tighten 4.7 N.m (42 lb in).
3	Windshield Frame Weatherstrip Procedure Remove the weatherstrip from the windshield frame channel, full the weatherstrip gently to disengage the foam adhsive tape. Use a solution of 50/50 isopropyl alcohol and water to clean the adhesive surface. Peel the protective film from the foam tape on the sides of the new weatherstrip, or install two sided tape to the sides of a reused weatherstrip. Insert the weatherstrip into the upper retainer starting in the center and working outwards and down the sides. NOTE: Water test the vehicle to ensure no leaks.
