Component Testing

  1. Ignition/Vehicle - Off
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector: Q6 Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve
  3. Test for 6.7 to 7.7 ohms between the test points:Terminal 1 & Terminal 2
    • If not between 6.7 and 7.7 ohms 

      Replace the component: Q6 Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve.

    • Go to next step: If between 6.7 and 7.7 ohms 
  4. Test for infinite resistance between the test points:Terminal 1 & Ground
  5. Test for infinite resistance between the test points:Terminal 2 & Ground
    • If less than infinite resistance 

      Replace the component:Q6 Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve

    • Go to next step: If infinite resistance 
  6. All OK.
