Installation Procedure

  1. Install Battery Negative Cable Extension Cable (2)
  2. Engage Battery Negative Cable Extension Cable Retainer (1)

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install Battery Negative Cable Extension Cable Fastener (2) and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  4. Install Protective Cap (1)

  5. Install Battery Negative Cable Extension Cable Fastener (2) and tighten 40 N.m (30 lb ft)
  6. Engage Battery Negative Cable Extension Cable Retainer (1)

  7. Install Radiator Surge Tank (6)Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LGX)
  8. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
