Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Starter Solenoid Cable

  1. Install Starter Solenoid Cable (2)
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Install Generator Fastener (1) and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
  3. Connect Electrical Connector (3)

  4. Install Generator (5)
  5. Install Engine Wiring Harness Bracket (4)
  6. Install Generator Bolt (1) and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  7. Install Stud (3) and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  8. Install Generator Nut (2) and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  9. Engage Wiring Harness Retainer (2)

  10. Install Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield (4)Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement (Coupe - LGX, LTG)

  11. Install the drive belt.(1)Drive Belt Replacement

  13. Install the radiator inlet hose (2) to the radiator and engine coolant pipe. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LTG with V18)

  15. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
