Installation Procedure

  1. With the aid of an assistant, feed the battery positive cable extension cable (3) through the opening in the plenum and into the engine compartment area.
  2. Install the pass-through grommet (2).
  3. Install the retainers.(1)

  4. Install Battery Positive Cable Extension Cable (2)
    5. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  5. Install Battery Positive Junction Block Cable Nut (1) and tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)

  7. Install Fuse Block Cover (1)

  8. Install the retainers.(1)

  9. Install the retainers.(1)
  10. Feed the battery positive cable extension cable into the rear compartment.

  11. Install Battery Positive Cable Extension Cable (4)
  12. Install Battery Positive Cable Extension Cable Fastener (2) and tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
  13. Install Rear Body Fuse Block Cover (3)
  14. Install the retainers.(1)

  18. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
