Circuit/System Testing
- Vehicle OFF and all vehicle systems OFF. Disconnect the X2 harness connector at the X98 Hybrid/EV Battery Charger Receptacle. Vehicle in Service Mode.
- Test for 1.15 V or greater between the signal circuit terminal 4 and ground.
- Vehicle OFF, disconnect the X1 harness connector at the K114B Hybrid/EV Powertrain Control Module 2.
- Test for infinite resistance between the signal circuit terminal 4 and ground.
- If less infinite resistance, repair the short to ground on the circuit.
- Test for less than 2 Ω in the signal circuit terminal 4 end to end.
- If 2 Ω or greater, repair the open/high resistance in the circuit.
- Replace the K114B Hybrid/EV Powertrain Control Module 2.
- Command the DC Charge Port Lock to LOCK with a scan tool. Test for 3.29 V or less between the signal circuit terminal 4 and ground.
- Vehicle OFF, disconnect the X1 harness connector at the K114B Hybrid/EV Powertrain Control Module 2. Vehicle in Service Mode.
- Test for less than 1 V between the signal circuit terminal 4 and ground.
- If 1 V or greater, repair the short to voltage in the circuit.
- Replace the K114B Hybrid/EV Powertrain Control Module 2.
- Replace the X98 Hybrid/EV Battery Charger Receptacle.
