Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  1. Install Communication Interface Module Battery @ Radio Assembly (2)
  2. Install and tighten Radio Assembly Bolts (1) (Qty: 3) to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)

  3. Connect the electrical connectors. (1)
  4. Attach the wiring harness securing clips.

  5. Position the radio module (1) and harness assembly into the bracket.

  6. Clip the harness retainer (1).

  7. Install the ground nut (1) and ground wire. Tighten the fastener to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  8. Install the ground bolt (2) and ground wire. Tighten the fastener to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  9. Clip and Connect the I/P main harness connector (3).
  10. Connect the coax antenna connectors (4).
  11. Clip the passenger side DLC connector (5).
  12. Connect the passenger side airbag connector (6).

  13. Install and tighten Radio Assembly Bolts (1) to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)

  14. Install Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator (3). Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Replacement

  15. Install Instrument Panel Assembly (1). Refer to Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement
  16. Connect Battery Negative Cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
