Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  2. Steering Column Replacement
1 Body Control Module Bracket Nut
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
9 N.m (80 lb in)
2 Body Control Module Bracket

Procedure

  1. Unclip the body harness from the bracket.
  2. Transfer components as necessary.
  3. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
