Installation Procedure

  1. Battery Negative Cable (2) - Install
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Battery Negative Cable Frame Ground Fastener (1) - Install and tighten 11 N.m (97 lb in)
  3. Install the battery tray. Battery Tray Replacement

  4. Battery Negative Cable (2) - Install
  5. Battery Negative Cable Nut (3) - Install and tighten 11 N.m (97 lb in)

  6. Connect the electrical connector.(1)
    7. NOTE:

    Inform the customer that the Stop/Start feature will not be available until the vehicle is allowed to sit for at least 3 hours undisturbed. If diagnosing a stop/start complaint, conduct the battery sensor module learn procedure to verify the repair.

  7. Perform a re-learn procedure on the battery sensor module, refer to Battery Sensor Module Learn
