Installation Procedure

  1. Starter (3) - Install
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Starter Mounting Bolt (2)Install and tighten 58 N.m (43 lb ft)
  3. Starter Mounting Nut (1)Install and tighten 58 N.m (43 lb ft)

  4. { If equipped }Engine Coolant Heater Cord (2) - Connect
  5. Battery Positive Cable (4) - Install
  6. Starter Solenoid Cable Nut (5) Install and tighten 12.5 N.m (111 lb in)
  7. Electrical Connector (1) - Connect
  8. Front Wheel Drive Intermediate Shaft Replacement (LE2 with MNH) - Install
  9. Lower the vehicle.
  10. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9)
