Installation Procedure

- Install the rear wheel speed sensor ring using the J-45860 tone ring installer (1) and the J-8092 driver handle (2).
- Drive the wheel speed sensor ring into the axle housing until the tool bottoms against the tube.
- Install the rear axle shaft bearing. Refer to Rear Axle Shaft Bearing Replacement .
- Install the rear wheel speed sensor. Refer to Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement .
- Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (6-Lug Wheel)Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (8-Lug Wheel) .
- Lower the vehicle.
