Removal Procedure

    WARNING:

    Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning .

  1. Remove the body wiring harness cable nut (1) and the body wiring harness cable (3).
  2. Remove the battery negative cable nut (2) and the battery negative cable (4).
  3. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .

  5. Disconnect the body harness connector (1) from the battery current sensor (2).
  6. Remove the battery negative and positive cable ground nut (3) and the battery negative cable from the frame rail.

    NOTE:

    Note the orientation of the battery current sensor when removing.

  8. Remove the battery negative cable (1) from the battery current sensor (2).
