Preliminary Procedures Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Finish Panel Replacement . Remove the liftgate lock cylinder rod. Remove the liftgate outside handle rod.
1	Liftgate Latch Bolt (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
2	Liftgate Latch Assembly
