Circuit/System Verification

  1. Vehicle in Service Mode.
  2. Verify the scan tool Door Lock Switch parameter changes from Inactive to Lock and Unlock when cycling the S46B Liftgate Unlatch Switch between LOCK and UNLOCK.
    • If the parameter does not change 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Liftgate Unlatch Switch Malfunction

    • If the parameter changes 
  3. Verify the M14B Door Lock Actuator-Liftgate will LOCK and UNLOCK when commanding the All Doors Lock/Unlock with a scan tool.
    • If the M14B Door Lock Actuator-Liftgate LOCK or UNLOCK functions do not work 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Liftgate Lock Actuator Malfunction.

    • If the M14B Door Lock Actuator-Liftgate LOCK and UNLOCK function works 
  4. All OK.
