Circuit/System Verification

  1. Vehicle ON.
  2. Verify the object alarm sounds 1 short tone when shifting the transmission into reverse.
    • If the object alarm sounds 1 or 2 tones repeated 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Rear Object Sensor Malfunction.

    • If the object alarm sounds 3 tones repeated or no tones 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Rear Parking Assist Control Module/Speaker Malfunction

    • If the object alarm sounds 1 short tone 
  3. All OK.
