Removal Procedure

  1. Steering Gear Skid Shield - Remove - Steering Gear Skid Shield Replacement

  2. Disconnect the power steering control module wiring harness connectors (1) from the electronic power steering motor control module.
  3. Remove the electronic power steering motor control module bracket bolt (2).

  4. Remove the electronic power steering motor control module bracket nut (1) and bolt (2).
  5. Remove the electronic power steering motor control module (3) from the steering gear.

  6. Remove the electronic power steering motor control module bracket bolts (1).
  7. Separate the electronic power steering motor control module bracket (2) from the module.
